Senior Capstone 2023
Beans Outdoor is the result of my exploration into soft goods. I appreciate the innovation of larger brands, but I am frustrated by how they are run and the environmental impacts they have. By creating a small, local outdoor gear brand, I can ensure that the impacts we make are only positive. Better working conditions, reduced emissions, higher-quality products, and a more personal experience between our customers and their products.
I not only sought to design outdoor gear but also develop the framework to launch Beans Outdoor.
Research ways to improve my efficiency when creating bags in bulk
Develop welcoming, persuasive, and bold branding.
Create functioning prototypes of five bags that would be easy to bring to market post-grad.
